‘Swa’-Roopwardhinee works to motivate & uplift school-going children, youth & women, especially from downtrodden strata of society through participatory & transformative processes. ‘Swa’-Roopwardhinee is a voluntary, non-profit, non-governmental organization playing a proactive role in the educational development of the needy. Founded on 13th May 1979, it is spread over 17 self-development centers (shakhas) for talented school-going children mainly from underprivileged sections of society.
Main objective of the department :
- All round development of needy and talented students.
- Empowering marginalized women with various problems.
- Contributing to the overall development of the community in the slums. means providing educational facilities to every needy student and building an organization by connecting others through other activities.
